Aaron Thomas Wharton

Is a multimedia artist proficient in music composition, sound design, programming, and photography.

Having had band directors for parents, he cultivated a strong grasp of music theory and love for mathematics at an early age. These would later spur on interests in the fields of sound design and programming.

In 2016, he received his BSc in Audio Production at the Art Institute of Austin. The self-ascribed Interpretive Dance Music project, xuiqen would be founded soon thereafter.

Intent on testing the limits of the real-time A/V performance, he links hardware synths and reactive visual programming to connect with his audience.

Off-stage, he enjoys capturing moments created by fellow artists.
